Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop front end React components and develop and test server-side code using Node Js and Typescript 14161
3 times a week on site (downtown Toronto)
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with software engineering
- 3+ years of experience with NodeJS + Typescript
- 3+ years of experience with React
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with AWS
- Experience developing server-side applications using Node.js frameworks such as or similar to NestJS/Hono
- Experience with source code management such as GIT
- Experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL
) - Experience working on Agile teams
- Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of financial industry, specially accounting / general ledger will be preferred.

Your Role:
- You will participate and contribute on all team activities such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective
- Develop front end React components
- Develop and test server-side code using Node Js + Typescript
- Be comfortable using relational databases and have strong knowledge of SQL
- Perform peer reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work
- Design and implement unit, integration, and automation tests
- Responsible for code integration and code deployment of existing modules as well as provide new pipelines for new modules (CI/CD)
- Have strong background in AWS services and practices.
- Provide technical leadership to other team members
- Break-down complex functionalities into granular tasks and stories
- Stay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to Client's need when required
Salary Range: CAD $120,000 - CAD $150,000
Permanent Role
