This contract position provides an opportunity for a seasoned engineer with over seven years of experience to lead a team focused on modernizing lending technology. You will utilize your Java and Spring Boot expertise while mentoring engineers and guiding architectural decisions. Your skills in RESTful APIs and microservices will drive high-quality deliverables and team effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a pod of 5-6 engineers on lending projects
• Guide architecture and design for software solutions
• Develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices
• Conduct code reviews and mentor engineering practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for delivery solutions
Requirements:
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years in Java and Spring Boot development
• Experience leading Agile teams
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices
• Expertise in TDD and automated testing frameworks
