Position: ServiceNow Developer (CONTRACT ROLE)
Job Description
We are seeking a Contract Service Now Developer to join Brookfield in Toronto, ON from November 2026 to June 2027. In this role, you will play a key role in inspiring change and continual improvement. If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on development experience with Service Now, including designing and implementing complex workflows, custom applications, integrations, and supporting platform enhancements. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions that align with business objectives.
Role & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement Service Now solutions across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.)Customize and configure Service Now applications, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, flows, and workflowsDevelop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and MID ServersParticipate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical documentationOptimize performance and ensure the stability and scalability of the platformSupport release and change management processes within Service NowProvide troubleshooting and support for Service Now incidents and enhancementsStay current with new Service Now features and best practices and proactively recommend improvementsYour
Qualifications:

SKILLS:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on Service Now development experienceStrong understanding of Service Now platform architecture and modules such as ITSM, CMDB, Catalog, and WorkflowExperience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Service Now’s proprietary scripting environmentsProficient in Integration Hub, web services (REST/SOAP), and data transformationExperience with Service Now Studio, Flow Designer, and Scoped ApplicationsSolid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesService Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) – requiredService Now Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist – preferredEXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of ITSM, CSDM, CMDB best practices, and DiscoveryExposure to Now Experience UI Framework or Service Portal developmentExperience supporting multi-sector or multi-instance environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEDUCATION/DESIGNATIONS/LICENSES:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience including IT certificationsITIL v3 Foundations or higherService Now Certified Application Developer or Implementation SpecialistSalary Type:

Annual Base Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000
