Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Software Engineer with expertise in IBM technologies to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IBM Safer Payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend/API development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities   Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the IBM Safer Payments platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Lead the technical design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Implement best practices for software development, including testing, documentation, and deployment.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to payment systems and IBM solutions.
Mandatory Skills   Extensive experience with IBM technologies, particularly in payment processing systems.
Proficiency in backend development languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, No

SQL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
Preferred Skills   Knowledge of payment industry standards and compliance requirements.

Experience with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
