As a Data Application Developer, you’ll design, develop, test, and enhance applications across technology platforms. You’ll translate business requirements into technical solutions while assessing system impacts. The work includes database management, batch processing, production support, and backup and recovery planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and assess impacts across business systems
Design, code, test, debug, and enhance applications
Build and maintain relational database queries
Support batch processing and production troubleshooting
Address regulatory, risk, and information security requirements
Requirements:
Two or more years as a Data Application Developer
Strong Oracle and SQL coding skills
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes
Degree or diploma in a related field
Logical troubleshooting and strong organizational skills
Bring Oracle, SQL, application development, and production support expertise to CIBC’s Enterprise Technology team in Toronto.
