Test manual and automated scenarios for Island’s enterprise workspace, using AI coding tools and agents to support quality delivery.
As a Test Development Engineer on Island’s Quality Group engineering team, you will design, implement, and run tests. The work spans manual test design, automation development, test-code maintenance, and collaboration with R&D engineering teams. You will help ensure new features and product releases meet quality expectations for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design manual and automated test scenarios
- Implement and run tests across product releases
- Collaborate with R&D engineering teams
- Lead innovations reducing test time
- Fix bugs in test suites and customer-facing products
- Four or more years designing manual tests
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agents
- Experience developing automation tests for enterprise products preferred
- Creativity solving challenging requirements
- Computer science or related degree preferred
