This senior role embeds with business users, client SMEs, product owners, and engineering teams. You will profile data, build enterprise AI applications, and guide solutions from prototype through production launch. The work includes cloud data platforms, APIs, pipelines, MLOps, LLMOps, and structured handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Map workflows, users, data, constraints, and decision points
Profile client data with Python, pandas, PySpark, and SQL
Build and validate working solutions using real data
Develop Claude-powered applications, copilots, and AI workflows
Monitor, stabilize, and hand over production deployments
Requirements:
10+ years in data engineering and production software engineering
Expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, REST APIs, and FastAPI
Experience with RAG, vector databases, semantic search, and Claude
Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and rollback
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
Apply senior engineering judgment across Python, PySpark, AI applications, and client delivery in Toronto's hybrid environment.
