Fitch Ratings seeks a Lead Software Engineer for its global Ratings Technology team. You will build enterprise applications, guide architecture, and support responsible AI adoption. The work spans product, analytics, and technology teams modernizing Ratings workflows and analytical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React
Guide architecture, standards, and technical vision
Champion responsible AI proofs of concept and adoption
Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional technical decisions
Implement CI/CD and resolve performance challenges
Requirements:
15+ years building enterprise applications hands-on
Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, and web technologies
Experience designing maintainable, scalable systems
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Leadership, communication, and practical AI experimentation skills
Bring architecture leadership, full-stack expertise, and responsible AI curiosity to Fitch Ratings’ Toronto engineering organization.
