Senior Director AI Architecture

Lead enterprise AI architecture at RBC in Toronto, shaping RAG, agent frameworks, and secure AI-native software delivery across Technology & Operations.
As Senior Director, you will establish one standard way to build, secure, and run AI at enterprise scale. You will own reference architecture for RAG, AI agents, model access, and AI-DLC. Your work will reduce bespoke stacks, accelerate maintainable delivery, and support trust from Internal Audit, Model Risk, and OSFI.

Key Responsibilities:

Define enterprise AI architecture standards and approved patterns
Converge RAG solutions onto a shared platform
Design sandboxing and security architecture for agents
Own AI-DLC harness architecture and quality gates
Chair architecture reviews and manage exceptions
Requirements:
15+ years in architecture or engineering
5+ years leading enterprise architects or engineers
Hands-on depth in RAG, agents, MCP, and inference
AI security architecture and OWASP LLM knowledge
Regulated-industry experience, ideally under OSFI
Shape RBC’s AI standards through RAG, agent security, model governance, and maintainable software delivery across Toronto.
