Salesforce seeks an experienced Core Database Internals Engineer for large-scale database technologies. You will design robust systems, solve scalability challenges, and support mission-critical products at petabyte scale. The work spans architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
Design core distributed database system functionality
Develop architecture addressing complex scalability problems
Improve system robustness and performance
Implement functional and system tests
Debug defects and support releases
Requirements:
Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience
Six-plus years in systems or database internals programming
Six-plus years building large-scale systems
Deep distributed computing expertise
Strong Java or C programming skills
Apply distributed systems, database internals, and systems programming expertise to Salesforce’s scalable database products in Toronto.
