Lead cloud security across AWS and Kubernetes while writing production Java code. Snaplii’s work model is not specified.
As a Staff-level individual contributor, you will secure applications, cloud environments, identities, infrastructure, and data. You will work directly with Java and Spring Boot services, automated tests, and production rollouts. Your impact will span engineering and business teams through risk prioritization, ownership, and maintainable controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Strengthen authentication, authorization, APIs, data access, and business logic
Improve AWS IAM and Kubernetes RBAC across EKS clusters
Lead containment, evidence preservation, remediation, and recovery verification
Build detections for credential misuse and privilege escalation
Validate security fixes, risks, and recovery controls
Requirements:
Recent production software engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot
Hands-on security experience with AWS, EKS, IAM, and Kubernetes
Experience owning substantial security incidents through recovery verification
Application security knowledge covering injection and authorization flaws
Staff-level influence across architecture, engineering practices, and business leadership
Bring AWS, Kubernetes, incident response, and software engineering expertise to strengthen Snaplii’s production security controls.
