We’re looking for enthusiastic, service-driven Players’ Assistant/Starter to join our team for the season. We are looking for motivated individuals available Part-Time from May through November 2026 (weather dependent).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ensuring that the course is running smoothly by monitoring pace of play and maintaining our time par of 4 hours and 13 mins for a round of golf.
• Communicating with the PGA of Canada staff when slow play issues arise. Use of Tag Marshal software will aid in this task.
• Ensuring golfers are prepared for their round and they start on their scheduled tee time.
• Keeping accurate records of rounds and player statistics and supporting golf shop with proper charges.
• Enhancing the golfer experience by offering assistance, amenities, and friendly service throughout the day.
• Monitoring all golfers to ensure that they adhere to on course rules & etiquette.
• Assisting the Turf Care crew whenever necessary to ensure the golf course remains clean and tidy.
• Maintaining the chipping green tobe clear of balls and tidy at all times.
• Addressing any questions or concerns members and their guests may have while on the golf course to ensure an enhanced golf experience.

What We Are Looking For:

• Completion of High School Education (Grade 12) is required.
• Knowledge of the game of golf and the principles surrounding etiquette is required
• Minimum of 2years experience at a private golf club.
• Ability to perform lifting and mild strenuous activity.
  
  Must be able to lift 25 lbs (Golf Bag).
• Strong communication skills with a good working knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining composure and performance standard during busy peak periods
• Availability to work various shifts including, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• CPR/First Aid Certification (recommended)
