The Club is looking for an energetic and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Skating Monitor in the Activities Department. This position reports to the Skating Manager.

• Set up and run the sign-in process for Family Skate
• Monitor the skating rink during Family Skate sessions
• Organize broomball games during set times
• Ensure skaters follow all Family Skate rules, intervening when necessary
• Coordinate monitoring duties with other Skate Monitors, providing a solid supervisory team
• Maintain effective communication with the Duty Manager and Skating Manager

• Strong skating background required - any ice sport
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Responsible and organized
• High levels of initiative and enthusiasm
• Ability to work under minimal supervision as well as within a team environment
• Experience as a referee or program assistant is an asset
