Job Title: Driver Helper
Location: Scarborough, Ontario
Shift: Short-term assignments (1-2 days) - 6:45am start time, 6-8 hours
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
This position provides support to a delivery team throughout the day. The work is active and requires a dependable individual who can keep pace in a busy setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading packages or freight.
- Ride along with the driver to deliver products on a designated route.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of items to the correct locations.
- Organize and manage inventory.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during loading, transit, and delivery.
- Regularly engage in heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a driver helper role a strong asset
- Ability to lift and handle loads up to 50 lbs regularly
- Able to work in follow directions, work with minimal supervision.
