As a Yard Operations Controller
, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the essential movements within the Maintenance Centre, where every decision matters and every action shapes the travel experience of millions of passengers across the country.

• Supervise, plan, and coordinate all activities related to rolling stock movements and train preparation, in collaboration with the Operations Control Centre, the ESC, and internal teams.
• Oversee the movements required for third‑party projects and act as the main point of contact for these requests.

• Provide leadership to locomotive attendants, employees handling air‑line connections/disconnections, personnel assigned to freeze protection, and Labourers/ Forklift Operators.
• Establish operational priorities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all activities.

• Serve as the primary on‑shift authority during emergencies, leading the implementation of the Maintenance Centre’s Emergency Response Plan while ensuring full compliance with CROR requirements and providing guidance and clarification to operating teams as needed.

• Supervise fuel supply operations to ensure locomotives have the required quantity for their movements.
• Ensure compliance with the fuel conservation policy and manage the associated project.

• Relevant experience in an operational environment.
• Strong sense of organization, rigor, and adherence to safety standards.
• Ability to make quick and well‑informed decisions.
• Skills in supervision and priority management.
• Availability for variable schedules (Night shifts, weekends, and holidays).
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Resilience and strong stress‑management abilities.
