CVOR Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze CVOR performance, driver safety trends, and roadside inspection data across Ontario operations
• Conduct compliance reviews of driver logs (HOS), DVIRs, maintenance records, and fleet documentation to ensure alignment with MTO and National Safety Code requirements
• Identify safety risks, recurring violations, and mechanical trends; provide actionable insights to Operations leadership
• Support internal and external transportation audits, including preparation of documentation and regulatory responses
• Maintain accurate fleet, licensing, and safety records, including CVOR-related reporting and registrations
• Partner with Fleet and Safety teams to support remedial training initiatives based on CVOR and incident data
• Liaise with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and regulatory agencies as required
• Develop reports and dashboards to track regional safety performance and compliance metrics

• 3+ years’ experience in transportation safety, fleet compliance, logistics, or CVOR-related analysis within Ontario
• Strong knowledge of Ontario CVOR program, National Safety Code (NSC), and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting)
• Experience with fleet telematics or ELD platforms (e.g., Geotab, Samsara or similar)
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with ability to interpret regulatory and operational data
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with Operations, Drivers, and Regulatory bodies
• Post-secondary education in Transportation, Logistics, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field preferred
