Become a vital part of Senior Persons Living Connected as a Driver for Meals on Wheels. Engage directly with community seniors while providing essential transportation and meal delivery.
This part-time role, requiring 15-20 hours per week, focuses on safely driving community clients to appointments and delivering meals. You will play a critical role in ensuring that seniors receive the support they need. Offering competitive pay of $17.83 to $22.28, this position combines service and community connection.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
• Support clients entering and exiting vehicles safely
• Deliver meals efficiently within assigned routes
• Fill out delivery checklists and submit reporting
• Relay client feedback for service improvement
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Valid G Level Ontario Driver’s License
• Three years of clean driving experience
• Experience working with seniors is preferred
• Vulnerable Sector Check necessary
