Snow Plow Truck Driver

Position: Snow Plow Truck Driver )
Job Summary  Mr. Lawnmower snow plow truck drivers are responsible for clearing and de‑icing parking lots, driveways, walkways, steps, and sidewalks across the GTA. The company serves premier commercial, industrial and institutional properties and assigns drivers a snowplow truck with a salt spreader to deliver service during the snow season.
Drivers must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the period from November 15th, 2025 to April 31st 2026, and must keep a phone with data to track all service visits using the company app.
Duties   Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events.
Conduct pre‑shift inspections and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
Clear snow from customers’ sites and designated areas marked on site maps.
Operate vehicles and equipment safely, responsibly, and efficiently following all recommended procedures.
Operate equipment as assigned.
Hand‑shovel/de‑ice site areas as required.
Submit paperwork electronically at the end of each shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills   Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License and clean driving record.
Ability to operate snowplows and snow equipment.
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Ability to read and interpret maps.
Excellent observation skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform physical labor and operate light equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Ability to meet deadlines, problem‑solve, and work well under pressure.
Horticultural technician/apprenticeship certification is an asset.
Compensation  Competitive salary (to be discussed in the interview) and bonus for achieving production milestones.
