Rookie Snow Plow Driver

Join Monster Plowing Company as a part-time Rookie Snow Plow Driver on an on-call winter contract in Toronto. Utilize your driving skills while ensuring safe snow removal services.

This position requires availability for snow events, immediately responding to alerts, and operating medium-duty trucks. You will lead a small crew, maintain equipment, and ensure quality control throughout operations. Develop your skills through on-the-job training with opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a crew of 1-3 snowfighters during snow events

• Operate snow plow trucks safely in challenging winter conditions

• Monitor dispatch phone and respond to alerts promptly

• Maintain equipment by checking fluids and performing minor repairs

• Participate in training runs to improve leadership and driving skills

Requirements:

• Available 24/7 for snow events, including weekends and holidays

• At least 2 years of outdoor labour experience

• Valid G-level driver’s licence, minimum 1 year of commercial driving

• Good communication skills and basic computer proficiency

• Physical stamina to handle tough winter conditions
