Position: Supply Chain Supervisor )
Position Purpose  The Supply Chain Supervisor at the Ontario Distribution Centre (ODC) will play a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain Manager by overseeing daily transportation and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes, and achieving performance targets. This role combines operational and supervisory responsibilities, aiming to maintain high service levels through effective management and collaboration with the team and stakeholders.

The Supply Chain Supervisor will primarily focus on optimizing day‑to‑day transportation activities to meet and exceed set performance objectives.
Key Accountabilities   Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations to ensure secure, accurate, and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods using FIFO/FEFO and inventory reconciliation best practices.
Design and implement standardized processes and documentation to maintain compliance with industry, quality control, and audit requirements.
Coordinate daily shipments, deliveries, and pickups in alignment with operational schedules, optimizing use of staff, fleet, and facility resources.
Monitor and report inventory levels (food, toys, and MRO) to ensure continuity of supply and proactively address shortages.
Lead and maintain warehouse equipment programs, including inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and record‑keeping.
Enforce food safety, handling, and expiry standards to ensure all distributed products meet regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and compliant facility, including adherence to health regulations, visitor protocols, and fraud prevention practices.
Supervise and develop warehouse, driving staff, and volunteers by assigning work, delivering training, and driving performance against productivity targets.
Direct logistics and fleet operations, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations (e.g., CVOR), vehicle inspections, and accurate maintenance and insurance records.
Champion health and safety programs by implementing policies, delivering training, co‑leading the Health & Safety Committee, and ensuring full compliance with organizational standards.
Qualifications   College diploma in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License with satisfactory abstract; ability to obtain DZ license, Forklift certification, and Safe Food Handling certification within required timelines.
Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation/fleet management and/or warehouse operations.
Strong leadership capability with proven experience supervising staff, drivers, and volunteers.
Advanced knowledge of fleet operations, including preventative maintenance programs, truck components, and invoice auditing.
Working knowledge of CVOR, Ministry of Transportation (MTO) standards, Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
Effective use of technology, including Microsoft Office and supply chain/logistics management systems.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and decision‑making skills in quick‑paced environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, building strong relationships while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service.
Ability to manage competing priorities and seasonal workload demands with strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills, upholding health & safety standards and organizational policies.
Compensation  The target hiring range for this position is $50,897.60 to $63,627.20 with a maximum of $76,356.80. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
