Reporting to the Manager of Torizon Logistics, the Logistics Coordinator is key in coordinating all brokered loads to meet customer expectations. You’ll build strong carrier relations by booking trucks and negotiating competitive rates. The position requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, ensuring timely service in the logistics landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact and book carriers for competitive rates

• Schedule trucks from designated USA shipping regions

• Organize and prioritize information with Buyers and Shippers

• Collaborate with partners for accurate dispatching services

• Maintain exceptional customer relationships

Requirements:

• Entry level experience in transportation or freight forwarding

• Degree or diploma in a related field is a plus

• Knowledge of fresh produce is an asset

• Familiarity with dispatching software like Loadlink

• Understanding of United States geography
