Volunteer Driver Supporting Families

Become a Volunteer Driver with the Children's Aid Society of Toronto and make a difference in the lives of children and families. Provide safe transport across the Greater Toronto Area and support community members.

We are looking for caring and dedicated individuals to serve as Volunteer Drivers. This important role involves transporting children and youth safely to various appointments and family visits, ensuring they receive the support they need. A Class G driver's license and 5+ years of driving experience are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable and safe transportation for children

• Ensure appropriate carseats are used during transport

• Lift and assist with children and their belongings

• Maintain confidentiality regarding the families you serve

• Collaborate with our staff on administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Valid Class G driver's license essential

• Minimum 5 years driving experience required

• Vehicle must be well-maintained and insured

• Commitment to attending training sessions

• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role
