Rail Operations Planning Specialist

Become a key player in transportation evolution as a Rail Operations Planner at our 130 Adelaide Street location. This in-office role focuses on delivering strategic rail network analyses and simulations.

In the Service Design – Performance Management Office, you'll utilize your technical skills to develop and optimize comprehensive transportation plans. Candidates should possess strong analytical capabilities in rail operations, network planning, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model and simulate rail networks utilizing best practice standards

• Conduct comprehensive analyses and generate technical reports

• Perform operational analysis with a focus on trend identification

• Validate system requirements and guide network expansions

• Update relevant operational manuals and guidelines

Requirements:

• Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, or similar

• Proven experience in rail operations, especially in simulation

• Knowledge of rail planning and track infrastructure

• Familiarity with related simulation software tools

• Proficient in MS Office and programming experience is a plus
