Cando Rail Car Conductor Position

Cando is looking for motivated Conductors to deliver essential rail car switching services. This role involves teamwork, problem-solving, and organizing operations at customer sites. You will conduct safety briefings, manage rail equipment, and perform inspections to uphold compliance with operational rules and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe locomotive operations with detailed job briefings

• Apply CROR Non-Main Track rules during all switching services

• Perform daily inspections of locomotives and safety devices

• Complete reports and logs with accuracy and attention

• Deliver excellent customer service in daily operations

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or GED is mandatory

• Previous equipment operation experience preferred

• Strong teamwork and customer service skills required

• Physically fit for demanding job duties

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather
