CSA Transportation is currently looking to recruit an experienced Customs Coordinator to join the growing Toronto Team.
Role Description- Coordinate and process customs clearance for LTL shipments
- Prepare and review shipping documents including commercial invoices, BOLs, and customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with CBP/ CBSA regulations and all applicable trade laws
- Liaison with customs brokers, carriers, drives, and internal teams to ensure timely clearance of shipments for multiple trucks daily/weekly
- Track and trace shipments, resolving any customs related delays or issues
- Processing ACE/ACI Manifests.
- Processing PAPS and PARS shipments
- Maintain accurate records of all customs documentation and transactions
- Communicate with clients regarding shipment status and required documentation
- Assist with audits and ensure adherence to company policies and procedure
- Performing any other tasks that may be required by the Customs Supervisor
- Post-secondary education in logistics, international trade, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in customs coordination within freight forwarding or logistics (LTL preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Border connect
- Experience working with customs brokers and CBSA systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Truck Mate is an asset
- Customs Certification (CCS) is an asset
- Strong computer skills; ability to use various computer software with little to no supervision
- Ability to work independently and work within a team
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear updates, manage inquiries, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of Canadian and U.S. customs regulations; experience in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Toronto Area and collaborate effectively as part of a diverse operations team.

Pay
: $50,000/yearly (Negotiable, based on experience)
