Lead transportation operations with LCBO in Toronto. Oversee inbound/outbound logistics while driving process improvements and managing key partnerships.
As the Manager of Transportation Operations, you will manage daily logistics ensuring timely goods movement. This on-site role focuses on developing strategies for optimized transportation routes and KPIs, alongside leading a team dedicated to enhancing service levels. Your leadership will drive the organization’s supply chain forward.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily inbound and outbound transportation operations
• Develop transport strategies to optimize routes and carriers
• Manage relationships with carriers, negotiating contracts
• Monitor KPIs to identify improvement areas
• Collaborate with teams to align operations with supply chain goals
Requirements:
• 10+ years in transportation management or logistics
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams
• Proficient with SAP and transportation software
• Experience in alcohol distribution or similar industry
• Professional certifications (P.Log, CSCP) an asset
