Drive with excellence at Republic Services as a CDL Driver-B. Operate collection trucks safely while providing friendly waste removal services to customers and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
As a CDL Driver, your role involves driving a collection truck and ensuring waste removal services meet customer expectations. You'll be responsible for performing daily vehicle inspections, keeping logs, and adhering to safety regulations. Timely service delivery and professional interaction with customers are crucial aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of trucks
• Safely drive along designated routes to disposal sites
• Load and lift refuse while complying with regulations
• Interact courteously with customers during service
• Tag unsatisfactory waste containers as needed
Requirements:
• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes
• Current HAZWOPER training or ability to complete on hire
• 2-4 years related driving experience
• Ability to maintain logs and records
• Basic navigation skills
