TFT ALCO GROUP INC. is a fast-growing company specializing in the transportation of heavy vehicles and recognized as a carrier of choice throughout Canada and the United States.

The TFT ALCO GROUP INC. team is currently looking for Long Distance Drivers (AZ / DZ). Drivers will be responsible for driving different types of heavy vehicles, mostly new, from United States to Canada and vice versa (drive away). No handling required (driving only) and hotel paid.

• Terminal location:
  Hamilton, Windsor, Kingston, Cornwall
• Position Type:
  Full-time, On-call
• Self-employed work environment, in remote contact with the team

• No handling, driving of mostly new vehicles
• Hotel paid during travel
• Performance Bonus and Per Diem ($40.00 per day/USA only)
• Cell phone provided
• Work clothes (4 seasons) provided
• Friendly work atmosphere and social activities
• Maintenance of activities at all times and annual work
• Pay weekly

• Perform an inspection of the vehicle (Circle Check)
• Drive all types of vehicles to the requested place
• Maintain the necessary communication with dispatchers to ensure the smooth running of operations
• Make sure to operate the equipment safely and vigilantly
• Follow the delivery instructions
• Complete all documentation in accordance with the rules of transport
• Working collaboratively with your teammates
• Perform any other related duties

• Hold a valid driver’s license: AZ / DZ
• Have an excellent driving record
• Hold a valid passport
• Have no criminal record
• Good command of English, French is an asset
• Ability to drive manual and/or automatic vehicles
• Have a good knowledge of the Highway Safety Code
• Be comfortable with technology (use of apps and cell phone)
• Be committed to internal transportation policies and standards
• Excellent customer service
