Reporting directly to the Transportation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe delivery of produce to our valued customers around the GTA. This part-time role suits those available primarily on weekends, with early morning shifts expected. Engage with clients while managing the delivery logistics and maintaining food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely deliver produce to customers as scheduled
• Handle loading and unloading tasks with care
• Operate equipment like Manual Trucks safely
• Diligently complete necessary documentation
• Report food safety concerns immediately when detected
Requirements:
• Valid AZ and/or DZ driver's license and air brake endorsement required
• Clean driver’s abstract essential, with a successful drive test
• Experience with reefer equipment is an asset
• Strong communications and customer service abilities
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working under cold conditions
