Keep every flight moving safely, smoothly, and on time!

Coordinate aircraft handling from ground to departure, lead service partners, and ensure every detail meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Take the lead on the ground and help aviation take flight!

Tasks
As the  Aircraft Loading Supervisor , you will perform the following duties:

Responsible for coordinating Weight and Balance documentation with LHG Centralized Load Control

Maintain daily trip files as well as all aircraft-handling related statistical data

Supervision of ramp functions

Operational safety/load security checks on aircraft prior to departure, which also includes the coordination of all operational activities during irregularities

Coordination of all phases of aircraft handling, including catering, cleaning, fueling, cargo handling, authorities, crew and passenger boarding/de-boarding as well as pushback and walkout assistance

Supervision of service partners during all phases of aircraft loading/unloading, including checking on correct buildup/preparation of cargo – destined for bulk loading or in unit load devices

All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements
To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

High school diploma/GED required

Bachelor’s degree desirable

1-3 years of work experience in aircraft handling or knowledge of passenger handling and gate processes desirable

Fluency in English language required

German and other language desirable

Knowledge of airport procedures and processes

Successful completion of Training in Aircraft Handling (including DCS systems)
* Valid ALS Qualification
* Knowledge of Emergency Response (SERP) planning
* Participation in respective trainings to acquire respective qualifications required

Willingness to travel

Must possess a valid driver’s license

Manage high stress levels

Lift up to 70 lbs

Outdoor weather conditions

Must be willing to work shifts

Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
