Fed Ex Canada is seeking a Casual Package Handler for evening shifts in Etobicoke. This part-time role emphasizes freight loading, unloading, and adherence to operational protocols.
Scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Friday nights, the package handler position focuses on efficiently managing freight within the facility. You will be responsible for ensuring packages are handled according to safety regulations and Fed Ex operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload freight within the facility
• Perform scanning and sorting tasks effectively
• Lift packages unassisted weighing up to 70 lbs
• Manoeuvre up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
• Undertake all necessary training and safety measures
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Knowledge of Fed Ex Canada and Customs regulations preferred
• Solid interpersonal skills for a collaborative work environment
• Must lift 70 lbs and operate handling equipment
• Successfully complete all mandated training
