Staffmax is hiring a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate
- Cold Storage to support operations in our client’s cold storage facility. This 3-month contract role involves manual material handling in refrigerated conditions and is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in low temperatures.
Contract length: 3 Months
Location:
Toronto, ON
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the loading and unloading of products in and out of cold storage
Transport boxes and containers using hand trucks or dollies
Verify product quantity and condition during transfers
Work in temperature-controlled environments (0°C to 4°C) for extended periods
Maintain cleanliness and organization in loading and storage areas
Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors promptly
Follow all workplace safety and hygiene protocols
Requirements:
Prior experience in a warehouse or swamper role is an asset
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically repetitive tasks
Comfortable working in cold environments for long periods
Must have CSA-approved steel-toe boots and appropriate cold-weather gear
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow directions
