Position Summary
Assistant Operations Manager at Envy Consulting Group, a growing food distribution and logistics organization located near the airport.
Hands‑on operational leadership supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, procurement, and sales coordination. Long‑term growth potential with exposure across all business areas and the possibility to move into a full Operations Manager role over time.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support daily warehouse, inventory, logistics, procurement, and sales operations.
- Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and replenishment planning.
- Assist with logistics scheduling and distribution coordination.
- Support customer orders, operational follow‑ups, and internal communication.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
- Assist with SOP implementation and operational compliance.
- Oversee warehouse, facility, and company vehicle maintenance.
- Lead monthly JHSC meetings and maintain health & safety documentation.
- Develop knowledge of MTO, CFIA, and MOL regulations related to operations and distribution.
- Operations, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Inventory and procurement coordination experience preferred.
- Experience with in food distribution, wholesale, or supply chain operations is an asset.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness to occasionally support extended operational hours during peak periods.
- $70,000 – $90,000 salary depending on experience.
