Position Summary
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for providing warehouse support including picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving of orders to meet the facility’s productivity and quality goals within the establishment.
What You'll Do- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity, and product type.
- Use electric pallet jack and stand‑up forklift as required.
- Communicate effectively with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check‑in, and Forklift Operators.
- Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes on a daily basis.
- Sort and store goods in designated areas of the warehouse.
- Handle all company‑issued equipment, including PPE and voice equipment, properly.
- Report all safety concerns in the work environment in a timely manner.
- Wear the company‑issued uniform.
- Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, or move orders to the loading dock to prepare for shipping.
- Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers when necessary.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
