Warehouse Operations Manager

We are looking for an Operations Manager to take full, end-to-end ownership of our distribution warehouse. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for everything from inbound receiving through to outbound fulfillment, with accountability for throughput, accuracy, inventory integrity, cost, and compliance.

This is a data‑driven environment where decisions are expected to be backed by numbers. The right person is equally comfortable on the warehouse floor solving problems in the moment and in a spreadsheet analyzing performance trends. The scope is broad and will continue to expand as the business scales.

• Own end-to-end warehouse operations
  : receiving, put away, inventory, picking, packing, and outbound distribution
• Lead, schedule, and develop the warehouse team, setting clear priorities, standards, and accountability
• Define and monitor KPIs (throughput, order accuracy, cycle times, on‑time fulfillment, cost per order) and use data to drive day‑to‑day and longer‑term decisions
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciliation, and strong process controls
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, health and safety, and age‑restricted product handling requirements
• Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and fulfillment partners
• Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve processes, warehouse layout, and systems as volumes grow
• Step in hands‑on during peak periods to support the team and resolve issues as needed

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment operations, including direct team management
• Strong analytical skills and genuine comfort working with data (Excel / Google Sheets required; SQL, Tableau (BI), or WMS reporting is a strong plus)
• Track record of owning operational KPIs and driving measurable improvement
• Hands‑on familiarity with WMS, ERP, or inventory management systems
• Strong leadership presence and comfort giving direct, constructive feedback across different personalities
• Willingness to be hands‑on and take ownership rather than managing from a distance
• Experience scaling operations in a fast‑growing or high‑volume environment is considered an asset.

Base salary range: $70,000–$85,000 CAD, depending on experience.
