We are looking for a chemical warehouse associate to ship and receive goods to ensure prompt delivery.
This is an on‑site role based out of our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke. It is an overnight shift that starts at 11:30 PM and ends at 7:30 AM.
Base hourly pay range: $19.50 to $20.50 an hour, depending on experience, skills, education and budget.
What You’ll Be Doing in This Role- Organize and retrieve stock, including picking, filling orders, packing, and shipping
- Pick materials for batch staging for the Pre‑weigh team
- Prepare shipments of chemicals or bulk for third parties
- Maintain organization of the chemical room – organize shelving materials, wrap skids, and prepare them to be lifted onto racks
- Provide containers of each lot of newly received materials to Quality Control for testing and assist with labeling and releasing materials
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials
- Ensure TDG requirements are followed when handling Dangerous Goods
- Gather materials from a pick list
- Verify expiry dates, or ask supervisor to check lot codes and COAs
- Provide materials for testing
- Physical ability to lift 25 kg containers of raw materials
- Relevant education or equivalent work experience in a warehouse environment is an asset
- WHMIS, pallet lift truck, forklift, or TDG certifications are an asset
- Ability to multi‑task
