Dwight Distribution Centre, Toronto, ON, CA

The Warehouse Order Selector will report directly to the Operations Supervisor and General Manager of Operations. This position will play an integral role in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders in a timely manner. This role will have an anticipated schedule of 32-40 hours per week. This is subject to change depending on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

Select orders with a low lift pallet truck (You will be trained to operate safely)

Build pallets that include sensitive products for shipping long distances

Transport pallets of produce to the staging lanes

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area

Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and security

Qualifications

Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs

Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time

Ability to reach above shoulder level

Able to encounter food allergens

Must be able to work within a cold environment for extended periods of time

Must always wear CSA approved Safety Shoes

Ability to perform basic math functions

Carry out detailed instructions with high attention to detail

Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well with others in a team environment

Low Lift or Forklift experience an asset

High School diploma or GED

Previous warehouse experience is preferred

Personal Attributes

Accurately gathering products and items to fulfill an order for an internal or external customer

Complete all necessary paperwork accurately within the required timeframe

Cleaning and tidying as required to maintain a safe work environment

Assist with inventory cycle counts to ensure proper inventory numbers

Loading and unloading of inventory, stock, and supplies as required

Putting away incoming inventory into specified areas

Take part in company initiatives and meetings

Job Information

Salary: $19.02 per hour

Sunday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm or 2:00pm to 10:00pm
