Job Overview
Be part of the Food and Beverage Stores Team! Assist the Stores Manager with daily stores operations and the distribution of products.
Responsibilities- Verifies food, beverage and general supplies received and assists with the re-order process and documentation.
- Ensures accurate and prompt distribution of products to all departments, moving stock from the Receiving area to Stores and to all kitchens promptly while maintaining the cold chain.
- Fill requisitions inventory to maintain minimum/maximum pars stock.
- Maintains accurate documentation of all requisitions/products issued for reporting purposes.
- Rotate, store products with date stamping.
- Take physical inventories for daily reorder purposes, month‑end reconciliation and reporting.
- Use the Birch Street Procurement system for issuing and re‑order processes.
- Daily cleaning of all Stores.
- Participate in hotel committees and events and perform additional duties as required.
- Some food knowledge and computer experience.
- Complies with all Health and Safety regulations.
- Organized and accurate with attention to detail.
- General knowledge of food and beverage specifications and quality standards.
- Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to: constant standing and walking throughout the shift; frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 kg; frequent pushing or pulling of carts with up to 250 kg load; frequent ascending or descending stairs and ramps.
Starting Rate of Pay: $22.79 per hour. You will receive a wage increase following six months of compensated service, as per the collective agreement.
