Make a difference as an Area Supervisor at TTC’s Central Stores in Hillcrest. Focus on effective materials management and enhance warehouse operations.

In this pivotal supervisory role, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations while ensuring compliance with materials management principles. Leading a unionized workforce, you’ll conduct inventory counts, report on performance metrics, and maintain the security of store areas. Strong leadership and conflict management skills will be crucial as you drive team success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily materials handling and employee activities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage discrepancies

• Ensure timely distribution of inventory to departments

• Conduct performance reviews and manage staff discipline

• Compile reports highlighting operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in relevant field

• Extensive knowledge of materials management practices

• Previous supervisory experience preferred

• Current Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence

• Flexibility to respond to on-call situations
