Job Description:

Forklift Operator

Shift: Monday to Friday – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Freezer environment (-20 degrees)

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location:

In person

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week

Duties:

Operate double deep reach, dockstocker & walkie to load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage areas

Must have experience working in a freezer

Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse or production facility

Stack and arrange products and materials in an organized manner

Inspect forklifts before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance or repair needs

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and transactions

Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production goals

Requirements:

Valid forklift operator certification/license

Experience using RF scanners for order picking, inventory tracking, and stock management

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production setting

Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and practices

Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions

Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management

Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time

Must be comfortable working in a freezer/cold storage environment as required.

Experience:

Freezer: 1 year (preferred)
