Warehouse Assistant
Bellwoods Brewery is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This position is based out of our 20 Hafis Rd. location, which is a production brewery, warehouse and packaging facility.
The ideal person for this job has a minimum of 1 year of logistics experience physically working in a warehouse, manufacturing, beverage, and/or shipping and receiving facility. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of organization, cleanliness and operational efficiency around the facility. Clear communication, effective problem solving, and solid dependability are essential for this role. The individual we are looking for has a positive attitude, great work ethic, and thrives in a team.
It also doesn’t hurt if you enjoy working in a fast-paced and hands-on learning environment.
A successful candidate will be handling shipping and receiving—from checking in deliveries to accurately picking, packing, and labeling outgoing orders. You will also help coordinate with drivers and maintain essential documentation, keeping our logistics smooth every step of the way. This unique opportunity involves ongoing learning regarding inventory management and related brewery functions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse and logistics experience.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) and proven ability to safely operate pallet-handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 65kgs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is considered an asset.
- Flexible full-time availability Monday through Saturday, including evenings.
Compensation: $22.00/hour
