The Inbound Team Lead directly interacts with the receiving team, he/she is to ensure compliance of the procedure, and communicates goals, safety practices, and provides ongoing guidance and support to the employees as they complete their action plans. He/she will support to the Receiving supervisor and manager. The Inbound team lead and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to and enforce the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.
Compensation& Schedule
$22.66 hourly Monday - Friday (6AM - 2:30PM) Full Time, Non-Exempt
Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor Receiving progress and process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Process improvement participation.
- Provide support and guidance in the Receiving process / function.
- Provide leadership to all department employees.
- Conduct employees kick off meetings.
- Preform regular safety walks and participate in safety meetings as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e., Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.
- Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
- Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency
- Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas
- Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software
- Act professionally and remain focused while working
- Safely operate all warehouse equipment
- Follow directions of leadership
- Perform cleaning activities as required
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
Must be 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Supervisor experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.
