Start early with UPS as a Warehouse Associate in Concord, sorting packages and loading vehicles during permanent part-time shifts. Flexibility is required.
This physical, labor-intensive warehouse position runs Tuesday through Saturday, generally from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Associates sort and stock packages by postal code while loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trailers. The schedule involves three to five hours daily, with minimum weekly availability of 25 hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Load packages into UPS delivery vehicles and trailers
- Unload packages from vehicles and trailers
- Learn established package handling methods
- Sort packages according to postal codes
- Stock packages within the warehouse
- Lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds
- Full availability Monday through Saturday
- Read and memorize postal codes
- Work inside trailers and delivery vehicles
- Warehouse experience considered an asset
