Summary

Working with the Boutique Director, the Assistant Boutique Manager assists with the day-to-day management of the sales team and boutique operations to ensure exceptional customer service and commercial performance. The role focuses on maximizing sales, developing clientele, overseeing merchandising and inventory, and enforcing company policies and security procedures. The Assistant Manager also coaches and trains sales associates and participates in store presentations and promotions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing sales team performance, set and monitor sales goals, and maximize conversion rates.
  • Coach, train, schedule, and develop sales associates; lead regular store meetings and facilitate communication between management and staff.
  • Open and close the boutique and ensure compliance with security and cash-handling procedures.
  • Participate in merchandising, prepare displays and presentations, and monitor proper pricing.
  • Oversee and participate in inventories, manage transfers, damages, and returns, and minimize stock losses.
  • Support coordination of sales promotions, clienteling activities, and clientele development.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of retail experience, preferably with at least 1 year of management experience in a luxury product setting.
  • Strong commercial sensibility with fashion sensitivity and the ability to develop client relationships.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to open and close the store as needed.
  • Ability to maintain presence on the selling floor for extended periods and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills; ability to operate POS systems and related store equipment.
