Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable
.
Seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will build and support scalable cloud platforms enabling enterprise service delivery.
Responsibilities- Design and support cloud platform services across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
- Support cloud modernization initiatives for banking platforms, citizen services, OSS/BSS, billing systems, and telecom customer platforms.
- Build reusable cloud platform services and automation frameworks.
- Support container platforms, Kubernetes, Dev Ops tooling, and CI/CD services.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams.
- Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and platform governance capabilities.
- Support telecom network services, 5G platforms, and digital service delivery.
- Optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
- Drive cloud platform standardization and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments is required.
- Experience supporting cloud-native platforms, OSS/BSS systems, billing platforms, or customer-facing services.
- Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and Dev Ops practices.
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and security requirements.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Cloud certification preferred.
