Arcadis is on the lookout for a high-performing Legal Counsel to support its growing Canadian team. With 5 to 10 years of experience in construction litigation, particularly in transit and public-private partnerships, you will be instrumental in navigating complex legal matters and contract negotiations. A proactive approach to risk management and dispute resolution will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice on infrastructure contracts
- Handle claims and disputes related to projects
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams on legal risks
- Develop strategies for contract negotiations
- Facilitate training on dispute avoidance and resolution
- Licensed to practice in Ontario or other provinces
- Background in claims and risk management
- Robust knowledge of Canadian public contracting laws
- Proven communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in multi-party contractual environments
