The core focus of this position is to plan, deliver, and assess high:quality, engaging Maths lessons. You will be responsible for a full timetable of classes, ensuring exceptional progress and positive outcomes for all students aged 11:16 as they develop their mathematical and problem:solving skills. You will be expected to use formative and summative assessment strategies to effectively guide student learning and prepare pupils for their GCSEs.

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Mathematics (or a closely related field).
- Possesses recent, demonstrable experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Exhibits excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Is passionate about Mathematics and committed to raising student attainment.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the National Curriculum requirements for Maths.
- Is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
- You will take full responsibility for the learning and achievement of all pupils in your Maths classes, including planning, preparation, and detailed marking.
- Other duties include contributing to the development of departmental schemes of work, assessing student progress, providing timely feedback, undertaking a form tutor role, and actively participating in whole:school life and training.
