The Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 Teacher will deliver engaging and well‑planned teaching across primary age ranges, supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. This role is ideal for a flexible and committed teacher who enjoys working across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and is seeking long‑term progression.
Dutiesas Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development
- Use assessment to monitor progress and inform teaching
- Differentiate learning to support individual needs
- Maintain clear routines and high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers where appropriate
- Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible and adaptable teaching approach
- Ability to motivate and engage pupils across age ranges
- Organised, reflective, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Willingness to begin on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
