Axcis Education are closely supporting a specialist SEMH provision in Torbay who require an English specialist teacher to start as soon as possible. The role is covering a member of staff for at least 6 weeks.

  • Rate of Pay: £175-£255, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
  • You will be covering an English Teacher, delivering predominantly functional skills (level
    1) English to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • You must have QTS, or years of experience working as an unqualified English SEND teacher.
  • All planning and curriculum contents are provided - focus is on delivery and building relationships with students.
  • All staff are given 1.5 hours planning and prep time within the working hours.
  • The school regularly have teaching opportunities and will look to keep staff who are an excellent fit.
