The role is to provide effective reception cover and support to the Sexual Health team, which includes answering the appointments phone line, booking appointments, greeting patients face to face and inputting data accurately into the sexual health electronic patient record system (Inform). The post holder will be required to provide reception cover primarily at Castle Circus Health Centre in Torquay, as well as any peripheral clinics within the Torbay & Teignbridge area as and when introduced.

The post requires flexibility as the hours will be variable over the week and will involve evening and possible weekend working.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 7.5 hours per day with variable start and finish times

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2026-7 rates, inclusive of a 3.3% pay award implemented from April 2026. If you join before this date,, remuneration will be based on the 2025-6 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2025/26 | NHS Employers )
